I'm on the 16-8 plan with my feeding window from 11-7pm.

Whether you call it lifting or not, I do one of the p90x programs each morning at 5:00AM. Since I switched to fasting, I haven't noticed any decrease in strength or performance while working. The only issue I have had is that on the HIIT cardio days I am HANGRY by 9:30AM.
