I have. I was having trouble with continued inflammation 6 months or so after a relatively minor rotator cuff repair.

The shot hurts. I walked out holding my arm like in the movie The Right Stuff.

Did it help? Maybe. It did get better, but it wasn't for another 3 months or so, during which time quit I PT'ing/exercising. Dr Carl Palumbo did my injection. This was in 2011.

I had my other shoulder scoped twice last year, with second being a major repair. Still hurts. Contemplating a stem cell injection.

My only advice: If you haven't taken 2 or 3 months off to see if the pain decreases significantly, try it.

I did on a partially torn Achilles. Significant improvement very quickly. I'd do it again with no questions.

I felt no improvement for 6 weeks, had PRP, and a few days later I noticed a major difference. It did hurt for several days after the PRP, but once that subsided it felt much better than before.

Prolo for 4 degenerative lumbar disks. Seems to help.

It's not a pleasant experience though.
