Quad tightened up pretty good at three miles this morning, so I shut it down. I probably could have worked through it, but it's not worth the risk right now.

Dropping lbs for BIL's wedding in April. I'm an on-and-off runner who has recently dropped 10 lbs, but needing to get serious from a more structured routine and diet. Here I go...

- 1 mile run to gym (3 year old master planned community with decent gym that my HOA dues pay for)

- 30 minute Meta Shred "The 30-Minute Lightweight Leanout" with 10lb barbells.

6 rounds of each move for 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest in between moves and 1 minute rest in between rounds;

1. Jumping Jack
2. Skier Swing
3. Thruster
4. Rotational Punch
5. Diagonal Chop (switch sides half way)
6. Discuss (switch sides half way)
7. Ground and Pound
8. Speed Z Press

- 1 mile run home
