AM: Beautiful weather; two miles

3 treadmill miles - 35 minutes core

5 miles this AM. Was sort of a weird run... I felt like I ran faster than my actual pace I ran and my heart rate stayed really low compared to my usual runs at that tempo. Did 5 miles at 8:20 pace and heart rate stayed at 140 or lower most of the run. Weather obviously the biggest difference today as it was 57 degrees I just didn't think it would have that big of impact.

For an 8:20 pace I would expect it to average out closer to low 150s... At 8 min or sub 8 min then I will expect it to be at/near/slightly above 160 depending on how long of course. Usually I am running in typical Houston weather... This morning was 50~ degrees. I'll see if this is the new normal under these cool conditions or a one off.

3 miles on the treadmill. did 4 yesterday. screwed up my back a week ago, so first runs since then. I think after today, I'm golden to start back in seriously.
