If there was any loss of consciousness at all, as the tweet suggests, then absolutely not. If he was just laying motionless because he wanted to buy his team some time, or was tired, or just had a stinger in his arm or something, then maybe.

Until there are non team paid trainers and doctors on the sideline this will happen.

The NFL now has NFL paid (not team paid) doctors making decisions on sidelines when it comes to concussions.

From the way that he lands and the way that he continues to lay there, I believe that he is definitely out. If that is the case then there is no way in hell that he should have been allowed to continue in that game.
