I have to go to Las Cruces, New Mexico tonight for work but I don't want to be stuck running on the hotel treadmill. Are there any decent parks or trails to run at in Las Cruces?

A little late to this party. But depending on where you were staying, there are some nice routes.

There's a path that follows the Alameda Arroyo, then runs parallel to 25 (on the west side of 25). The dam also offers an open unpaved trail. That one SUCKS in the summer. Easy access to both from the Fairfield or one of the other hotels on Telshor.

I found the path that goes along with 25. It was nice. If I have to come back for work I'll hit that up again. I also found that dam trail, I noped out on that one, I'm not a trail runner.
