Is that sped up in some parts, or does the drone fly that fast?

That pilot is VERY talented. I picked up a dji spark a used it some tracking a boat puking a tube this summer. Those circling shots are impressive.

I think this was shot on a similar drone. Mine would do 32 mph. The other one I looked at would do up to 50.

Funny story. I was using it on a very remote piece of river in Canada, that is about 40 miles up from a Canadian special forces base. A helicopter came down the river so low that he had to go AROUND a boat. I got disoriented flying the drone trying to get away from the helicopter, so I ended up going the only safe place I could be sure of, which was up to 150 feet.

The dive at 1:05 - 1:09 was slowed to 50% speed because I thought that shot was pretty cool. All other footage is real time.

I'm not running your standard photography drone. I'm piloting a racing multi rotor quad copter. They are used for racing gates and acrobatic freestyle. The drone can do 40-50 MPH with out breaking a sweet and 70+ in pulses.

It's a rush!
