My wife and are looking at our annual bill for cord blood storage ($95). We have been storing with Viacord for 13 years since our youngest child's birth.
We recently read an article stating that most cord blood, if it is even viable after this long, would not treat a patient over 90 lbs. No one in our family weighs less than 100 lbs.
It's not that I can't afford the cost, but I also don't want to pay for something with zero use/return.
Is there another reason we should keep it?
TIA!
