Meghan Hokom Stapleton '02 and '08, Houston resident, wife of Mark Stapelton, and mother 2 young boys was recently diagnosed with SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection) after suffering two myocardial infarctions and having emergency double bypass surgery. She is currently in ICU at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas medical center. Unfortunately, Meghan's heart has not started working properly since her surgery in June, and she has learned she must have a heart transplant to survive. She is a young and very healthy 37 year old and deserves a chance to get back to her life and her boys. Aggies...she needs our help! She has been placed on the highest priority list for a donor heart. Until that time, she must remain in ICU. As an undergrad, Meghan dropped out of school temporarily to take care of her roommate who was injured in the bonfire tragedy. It's this selflessness and Aggie loyalty and spirit that makes her so deserving of our support now. Please help if you're able and please share this with your contacts. Thanks and Gig 'Em
