Has anyone here done the Whole 30 program? Or Paleo diet, which is very similar. If so, could you share or source some recipes that would help ease the pain? Drink (more specifically coffee) and food recipes welcome.
I think that bacon is from Pederson Farms...... (sp) If that is the one you're talking about then it's legit. It's the one I cook with all the time now.AggieOO said:
HEB has sugar-free bacon. Its not technically whole 30 approved though b/c it still contains nitrates. Its ok, but you can definitely tell its not "regular" bacon.
Pederson Farms sugar free bacon is soooo good. I ate so much of it when I did a round of whole 30. I'd go through 3 or 4 packages a week. Expensive though. I've been pondering doing another round of whole 30. Actually, I think I might do a whole 15 instead since it seems like I lost most of my weight in the first 2 weeks last time.CoolaidWade said:I think that bacon is from Pederson Farms...... Been on Paleo for a few years. It's on in the sides really since most of the time I just BBQ chicken/steaks/chops.
This one has shot near the top of our list.... From Paleomg. Bacon braised collared greens. You can buy the bag of Collard Greens already chopped and washed at HEB. That's what I do but I'm pretty lazy. I have changed the recipe up.... I think it's better if you use a little less chicken stock and I add chopped carrots to it. Plus I replace the shallots with yellow onion.

So you can't drink Whole30 right? That sucks ass. I can't give up my glass of wine every night before bed. I'm sure that is the sole reason my HDL cholesterol is amazing.
