Got a spare one laying around?

I'll probably run the ascent again next year but will taper back the treadmill running because I'm not sure it really pays off.

Don't need one. I just step outside into the thin air at 4500'.

Michael Wardian ran Leadville and then drove to run the Pikes Peak Marathon.

Michael Wardian is one of my favorite runners to follow. While he's insanely fast compared to your average runner (he ran the 2012 Marathon Olympic Trials, and has a 2:17 marathon PR), he knows that he's not fast enough to truly make a living at running. So he just runs races all the time, and does crazy stuff like the Leadville / Pikes Peak double or the World Marathon Challenge. Plus he races all distances from local 5k's around the DC area to 100-mile mountain races. Cool dude; I'd love to meet him someday.

Don't kid yourself, the guy is making money running. It's not a full-time job, but he's making money.

No knock on him, he was smart enough to figure out how to be relevant.
