Anyone running the Full? Once again we will be at MM ~20.5 (after you pass Brentwood Elementary) with Twizzlers, OJ, and signs.

I don't run road races anymore, but we will be out there cheering. Probably somewhere around mile 18-20. My brother-in-law is running his first marathon. Austin is a lot of fun. Last time I ran it, I pounded a beer at mile 22.

I'll be running the half. My original goal was the full but travel, family and work derailed my training schedule in December and January. Maybe this year I'll do the full in either Dallas or Houston so the race and training is done before the holidays and end of the year craziness at work.

I'm running the half. I wish I was in marathon shape...I heard the last mile has been named the "Manzano Mile"

If I hadn't committed to Cowtown, I'd be down there. I've still never run in Austin

It's a fun race. Hope you like hills.

Good luck!

Austin was my third marathon. The back half of the course has some fun hills.

Dan - which has more hills - Austin or Cowtown?

I've only done Austin, but I'm sure one of the resident experts can answer that

Hope everybody survived the hills and humidity. And thanks to the kind Ag passing out beer around mile 10 or 11

We were at mile 19 for the morning. It's nasty out there. Hope everyone ran tough.

Humidity was terrible and I had some kind of a stomach bug that morning so the fact that I finished my half without pooping my pants or throwing up was a huge win for me haha.

This was the sign I held

These are some of our other ones.

Good for you for making signs. I just rang a cow bell and laughed at all the runners in the miserable humidity.
