Anyone have any recommendations? I hear some of the cheaper stuff can be high in heavy metals and gives you really bad fishy burps. I think the Sam's brand (Member's Mark) is pretty inexpensive and supposedly good quality, but I don't know about the fishy burps. Anyone have any thoughts on those?

I use Sam's brand. It's fine. Take one at a time with a meal and I don't notice fish burps.

I get the green rim bottle at sams (has vitamin D too). Somewhere along the line they added some type of menthol to the gel cap because whenever I get any type of burps after taking a pill, it's a brief moment that feels like like I ate a mint.

Catch a few fish and squeeze the oil out of them.

Thoughts on Krill oil? No fishy burps at all but it is kind of expensive.

If I'm reading the labels right, those aren't any cheaper than the Optimum Nutrition Fish Oil, and you get a trusted name when buying ON. The ON would be $0.12/serving where the bulk is $0.18/serving (in order to get 2g of fish oil).

Edit to add: I see where you can get much larger quantities of the bulk that bring the price down considerably... but would you actually buy 3000 servings?

I get natures made from Kroger.

Do not get Kroger brand that's for sure. I don't know what was in them, but they made me feel really weird.

Bulk is pretty trusted from my researching things like protein and creatine. I certainly don't consider them a no name.

absolutely. Reviews for Bulk are about as good as you can find.

I like Nature Made, too. I think I used a Costco brand that was fine. I currently have two bottles of HEB brand I bought because I needed some and they happened to have a coupon. I see why they were trying to sell them off... no fish burps but they smell and taste like two-week old salmon. Disgusting. (And I love salmon)
