Less than a week away. Still trying to figure out transportation to the race that morning. Probably gonna try to schedule and Uber/taxi for that morning. Otherwise our hotel is about a mile from the metro + walking from metro to the start line.
2 hours?!?!Quote:
It is recommended that runners arrive two hours prior to start time to proceed through the security checkpoint, drop off bags and line up in the appropriate corral.
Good luck this weekend. You're going to crush it. When you see the hill at the end, just put your head down and sprint up that thing. The Pilot said:
Weather is trending better. Low of 53 now.
My brother was a USMC Major when he ran this race. He said when he got to the hill at the end, the enlisted men in his outfit were waiting for him to cheer him up the hill. No choice in letting up at that point.coop-aero-06 said:Good luck this weekend. You're going to crush it. That shirt was my project last year, still plenty of them for sale. Did you make the circle? I hope you did well and enjoyed the atmosphere.bushytailed said:
Third marathon, but first MCM. I'll be the chick in a ponytail wearing a Wear Blue Fallen Aggie shirt and maroon A&M visor. Make sure to hydrate! Have a great race everyone!
