Thanks to Reproag. One of the easiest vehicle purchases I have made.

He's a really great guy tie work with and a good Ag.

He made the entire process go smoothly and was able to find the unicorn of a truck I was looking for in just a couple of hours.

I'm very happy to finally be in my new 2024.

Unfortunately, Ford has not seen fit to have a maroon color in their trucks for several years. Otherwise, that's what it would be. May have to mention that on my customer satisfaction survey.

I just got out of a maroon Ram and I'll never own another maroon vehicle in my life. Way worse than black to keep clean

Old Ags with phone clips know how to get **** done.

Especially ones who opt for the extra cab over the baseball dad crew cab.

The absence of New Balance shoes frightens and confuses me, but I still love the truck.

Thanks guys. I knew I could count on the AB for some great comments - just took awhile. I like my phone clip very much - I can't stand to have something that big in my pocket. Especially the back pocket - my fat butt would break it. I'm the one on the left - never owned a pair of New Balance. Red Wings everyday. Buck can answer for his choice of shoes, but I know he coaches some youth sports, so I would cut him a little slack.

This truck replaces my '12 supercrew ecobust.Lariat. I had enough of the $1-2k repairs on the ecobust. Cam phasers, timing chain & tensioners, then the turbos. That was 3 years afters spending 2k on replacing the AC. It was a good deal when i bought it, just should have traded it 5 years sooner.

I decided to go minimalist on this one - 5.0l V8(no turbo for me), supercab vs supercrew and XL trim (hence the steelies). I was surprised at how well equipped even the 01A package is. 12" screen - not that I cared to have a screen at all, I would rather have old fashioned mechanical controls. Digital gauge cluster. Electric locks, windows and mirrors. It has AM/FM and all the streaming stuff I won't use. I have all my old country on a flash drive that plugs in and don't have to listen to commercials on the radio.

So far just over 17 MPG and climbing with just over 400 miles on it.

It is very quiet inside - even at 70mph.

I buy vehicles to use as tools, not to show off how fancy a truck I can buy.

Regarding your flash drive. That's great. Funny how technology has circled around. I bet teenagers these days would have a learning curve to put music on a flash drive to then plug into their car to listen to music.

I have music flash drives set up for my wife and I's cars and we're in our early-mid 30's. It's great for long drives where cell reception is iffy, and is so much easier than messing with music on a phone. In my previous vehicle, it didn't have a USB port so I would load up music files onto mp3 CD's.
