Ok, so who has the hookup on the Chevy 3/4 tons on the west side of DFW (preferably)?

There are so few gas 2500s out there. Anything above a work truck has a duramax

I've seen a few LT with the gasser.

I've seen several Ltz and high country with the gas engine. Depends on what the dealers around you order I guess.

Classic Chevy Sugarland has a bunch of high trim trucks with gas motors.

It's mostly Custom and LT trims with the gas engine that I see. There are a few higher trim trucks rolling around too, especially now that it comes with the 10 speed ******

Freeman GMC had nothing but gassers in all trims when I was there a few weeks ago. AT4, Denali, even an AT4X

So what's the difference in a Chevy high country and a gmc at4? Assuming both are 2500 Hd.

High country is a premium trim like Denali or King Ranch, AT4 I believe is more appearance package and off road things.

High Country is Chevy's version of GMC's Denali. AT4 is very similar in options just different in appearance. More for the "off road" crowd, but both are very nice.

No contacts but my first choice would be Jerry's GMC, followed by Moritz Chevrolet, then anyone else but Hiley GMC.

1/2 ton and a set of air bags. Huge difference for me on a softly sprung tundra.

Thanks. I'm willing to travel a bit if it makes sense. Any thoughts on Freeman GMC or Classic Chevrolet?

No but I believe Classic is still owned by the Durant family so no issues there IMO

Jerry Durant in Granbury is where my dad used to buy trucks but now with online shopping he's typically gone for the best deal.

Bruce Lowie is supposedly ok to deal with as well.

I went all the way to Eastland to buy from Blake Fulenwider for my last Chevy. They didn't realize til the last minute that the salesman quoted a 2wd truck instead of the 4wd I was buying. They moaned and groaned about it but honored their price.

That's pretty impressive

I bought my truck from classic Chevy during the beginning of lockdowns. They required add ons but eventually came off it because I was the only customer in the entire dealership.

Overall a good experience. One mess up on service where they didn't tighten oil filter all the way. I fixed it and they sent people to my house in Splendora to power wash the oil stains on my driveway.
