A few months ago , I opened up the glovebox on my wife's Honda CRV and a mouse jumped onto my lap.
She was driving, it was after dark, and I'm trying to stomp the little SOB unsuccessfully while she is laughing at me.
Stopped at a car wash and cleaned out the shredded Sonic napkins and mouse turds.
Set traps in the car but never caught any mice.
Fast forward to last week of 100 deg. days. We were on a road trip & dang AC was blowing weak.
I automatically assumed blower resistor had failed.
I decided first to check the cabin AC filter. Dang mouse had also packed the AC ductwork full of napkins and grass.
Was able to pull it out with a vacuum hose.
Of course chunks of it fell down onto the blower fan causing it to vibrate.
Had to carefully snake that out with small tubing inserted into a vacuum hose.
Car miraculously smells a lot better and cold AC is a luxury !
