To save y'all from going to a dead post:

I bought a GMC 2500HD 8.1L gasser, 2WD, SLE Trim, in 2016 for $13,000

Maintained it well, put a deep trans pan and switched to Transynd for the Allison, added a high capacity alternator. New headlight and taillight lenses, LED bulbs. Otherwise just like I bought it.

A few days ago, with 99,800 miles on it, I sold it for $14,750

Used market is insane, as well.

Similar story for me. Bought a 1 owner 2006 Silverado 2500HD LT 4x4 LBZ in 2016. Truck had 135k on it and I paid $19,000. I sold it in May of this year with 216k miles on it for $21,000. I had a committed buyer in less than 24 hours and received payment in less than 48 hours after posting.

Wow. Should have brought my truck to your town to sell.

Never in my life seen people so desperate for a particular vehicle of which they will most likely never even leverage its capability.
