I have a 75 cj5 collecting dust and I'm debating parting ways with it.

V8 with 3 speed
Has a new carb and we recently pulled and cleaned the gas tank and coated it to prevent rust
Runs and drives
Needs some brake work to really be road safe
Needs a new tire and may need all four replaced
Small exhaust leak

Looking for some advice on how much it may be worth as far as asking price. If a fellow ag on here just has to have it shoot me a DM with an offer and we can discuss.

Not too familiar with pricing for CJ5s as I deal mostly in 93-95 YJs (have 3), but from what little I know decent running CJs can and do go for between $4-9K. And pristine suckers can go for 20-30K.

I would clean her up a bit and post her online all over the place. Yeah, you will deal with a lot of scammers, but I would bet you could get $5-$7K easy, and more with some effort.

Lots of demand right now for easy fixer uppers due to overall new and used car shortages.

I don't know exactly about CJ-5s, but I got a solid CJ-7 from the friend of a fellow texager last year for $7k.

A CJ-5 in that condition should bring $5k all day long

I'd say somewhere between $5-10K, but where on that spectrum depends on how much rust is hiding under that gold paint. Looks like there's a lot.
