It's time.

Ive had 2002 911 for now 14 years. 84,000 and spends more time sitting in the garage.

Strut boots are in bad shape and airbag light is on. Repair then sell or sell as is?

TIA!

IMO, only repair if it's safety related or you can recover/get more money for the vehicle.

Edit: And if you're selling to a dealer, dont worry about any defects and sell as-is.

You'll be marketing to two different buyers. Those who want a perfect car with records and those who want to get a deal and beat you up over every little defect.

It's really up to you as to which buyer you want to deal with and how much patience you have to deal with the BS.

Either way you can get a price you're happy with, and in the end it's probably the same amount of work. A perfect car will sell faster showing it to fewer people who haggle less, but you have to fix the car first. The broken car will sell slower and you'll have to deal with bargain hunters kicking tires and pointing out the cars many flaws and acting like they are doing you a favor by offering this much, but you have saved the repair money and time this way.
