Insurance Question

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have a paid off 2008 Taco. Noticed the right rear tire had a nice dent where the wheel well meets the bed on the backside of the truck. Someone probably hit it with a basket or someone backed into it, etc and I just hadn't noticed it as it is an old truck.

Is it worth it to make an insurance claim? I think my deductible is $250 or $500. Will it affect my insurance at all?

I would see if paintless dent repair would work first.

Yeah, dentless won't work. There are some grommetts that have been broken.

It shouldn't affect your rate since it should be counted as a not at fault accident.

Go get a quote or two, then decide.

Man that's bad. You should sell it before it falls apart. I'd be interested in purchasing it.

This is wishful thinking. I say this as a commercial insurance underwriter.
