I ordered a 2-pin motor and regulator for my 2010 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer driver side window. Mine vehicle has 8 pins on the wire. Couple of questions:

1) I'm having a bear of a time trying to locate an 8 pin motor (if that's even what you call them)
2) Is it easy / possible to change the wire connector I have now to a 2-pin connector

Dorman 748-542 is the 8 pin one for Driver front.

But if the motor is still good,
Just buy a new regulator. Motorcraft WLR188 is the driver front door.

When it comes to electrical parts, I'm Motorcraft all the way. But, what's your opinion on some of the aftermarket window regulators?

I'm replacing one and the Motorcraft is $40 vs. about $15 for the aftermarket. Thanks.

I realize that a $25 savings won't sound like such a sweet deal if I have to go back into the door sooner than hoped.
