Anybody buy a front suspension kit for 2008 F-150?

Looks like i've got replace the struts and other components. 200K miles on the truck.

It's basically an F150, so whatever you would do for that truck....


At 200k miles you would need ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and end links, and shocks. This is is basically every rubber part on the front end.

Yep. Just wondering if there is kit out there that people would recommend. 1A auto has one but I can't tell what brand they sell.

1A Auto pushes their own house brand I believe, they also use quick-struts which 1ags schooled me on being no bueno

What's the issue with quick struts? Seems better to replace the springs at the same time.

I would avoid the no name quick struts.

I've seen some catastrophic failures.

Ford may even have an application for you.

Motorcraft ASTL 11 is what you should buy.

Whole shooting match. Coilover, spring, mount etc.

What else are we replacing?
