Backstory: Im based in Houston and have a project in Pflugerville that I have to go visit about twice a month. It's far enough that my company makes me take a rental car rather than pay to reimburse me for my personal vehicle. My company has an account at Enterprise. I tell office manager what day I need to go, she reserves a "midsize car" for me, and I go pick it up.

Well usually I get a boring Camry or something, but last week the rental car gods smiled upon me. I show up and the guy goes, hey we have a few Camaros on the lot, you want a Camaro? I said furk yeah I want a Camaro. So I ended up with with this SS LT1 with 10 speed.

I had a modified WS6 back in the day and driving this car really brought back that itch to have a sports car again.

Correct. To get the car I got as a rental and not hoon it would be an automotive sin. The rental car gods blessed me with this opportunity and I did not want to anger them by wasting it.
