Push fit power steering pulley

Has anyone here changed one of these out before? I got my new pulley on but I'm not sure when to stop pushing on. The pulley looks a little further inward than some of the others, but I'm still able to turn the nut and push on further.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The repair manual will tell you the spec/distance.

Did your plastic power steering pulley explode?

The pulley broke away from the hub that sits on the power steering pump shaft.
