Howdy Ags, I have a 2015 Fusion SE ecoboost. 140,xxx

It seems like every 18-24 months this scenario happens:
Car won't crank, pull battery and take to o'reilly's, they charge it and it tests good. I put it back in, works for a few days then battery is drained and dead. Replace battery.

There seems to be some chatter for fusions of other years needing a software update to fix a battery drain issue. I thought I would come and see what y'all might be able to add. Thank you!

Is this the same battery?

3-4 years is pretty good for a car battery anymore.

the reflash for the drain is for something that is dead on a daily basis.

What are you driving habits?

If you do a lot of stop and go commuting and never any long distance where the battery can get topped off, that will kill a battery.

Had a 2012 Fusion, that the battery post Burnt off at the base of a post. Never in my life had I seen that.

Don't know if that helps.
