How long do you want to ignore this user?
Thoughts?
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

2011. As far as I know, the motor mounts are fine.

What I mean by "surges" is that it accelerates as if you are pressing on the gas.

Are you accidentally pressing on the gas at the same time?

Can you actually see the RPMs increasing or engine revving or is it just a sensation that you feel?

No. It happens when anyone drives it.

I haven't noticed either of those. All I know is that it moves forward. Or, if you are backing up, it does the exact same thing. It accelerates while you are breaking.

Not much to go off, but it is consistent with worn motor mounts. The engine will slosh around as you decelerate and accelerate with a variety of possible symptoms. 9 year old car, I'd check it out.

I'd clean the throttle body.

When was the transmission serviced last?
