if you have already talked to a dealership, will truecar screw you up with them? its a dumb question but I don't want my phone ringing off the hook nor some other salesman from the dealership calling me

I have an employee car buying program that is just Truecar. I created a throwaway gmail account and being an old, I still have a landline (with caller id). I only responded to emails and did not answer the phone. After I would get a bid I would go back to the next lowest to see if they would beat it. It's certainly not the best method since you're only dealing with three dealerships who have a relationship with Truecar, but it gives a good idea of fair pricing. The quote I got from Mac Haik was significantly less than the best Truecar deal. Truecar will certainly blow up your email!

Here is my dilemma;

We like the highlander but the new 20s don't come out until December. I have a feeling the price difference between even a 2019 platinum limited highlander and the 2020 standard highlander is going to be pretty drastic

Just seems like the new hybrid motor is legit and the nicer amenities is pushing Toyota more into that luxury and less Toyota blandness its had a stigma of. No knowledge of that just a very uneducated guess on my part
