Anyone have recommendations for replacement third brake lights for an F150? Its a 2013 model and I'm looking for a replacement that won't leak like the factory one...

Decided to replace it because it looks like garbage now after taking in water for years. I did a few forum searches and no threads showed replacements people had actually bought before.

I bought a replacement from Rock Auto for mine when i backed into my garage door that wasn't quite up all the way. I don't have any leaking issues.

Did you buy the cheapest one they have? It's about $60. Shows a fee more expensive LED ones available, and of course a Ford version is over $90.

I went with the Ford version

Run a bead of silicone along the edge of the light where the mating surface is. That should keep it water tight
