Im thinking about buying a 2018 ram 2500. I know the 2019s are coming to the lots, so i want to get the best deal on an 18. There seems to be a timing aspect to doing it right; waiting too long and the selection of 18s is limited, too soon and maybe you dont get the deepest discount.

Any tips on how to time it?

Trying to time the Ram fire sale can get you burned.

probably going to depend more on what trim and options you want. the ones that sell the best won't be around long.

the more you wait and try to time it perfectly to save a grand on a 40k+ truck, the more chance you end up having to spend even more on a 19 or buying a used 18. if you're that set on saving money why not buy a low miles 18, save a little on depreciation.

I've personally always found Memorial weekend to be the best, but I've never been picky about trim, but have always found a really good deal
