Basically, I am looking for a two door coupe which is fun to drive. I was originally interested in Acura's (RSX Type S), Honda's (Civic Si), and Infiniti's (G series). I've saved up around $6500 the entire year from my three part-time jobs. Also sold a couple of things.

Looked at an '03 G35 with 82K miles today. Unfortunately, they would not come off of there $7700 price (Including TT&L).

Any other ideas? I'm not interested in anything like a Mazda three or six series or a GTI or anything that's a hatchback. Only interested in coupes. TIA.

A c5 at $6,500 would probably be a POS. Ag35 coupe isn't really that fun. The accord I mentioned is faster and more reliable. What are you wanting? Something fast? Handles well? Brand name?

When I bought my C5 in January there were plenty of solid drivers with under 100k miles for less than $9k. When you hit $6k and below, you were starting to have trouble. However the market is flooded with them right now and they are really easy to work on. Oddly enough the best deals I found with not run out cars were on Facebook marketplace. However in that price range you will see 20 POS for 1 good.

Don't care about brand name. Primarily something that handles well and is quick. I'd prefer leather, but it's not a deal breaker.

I owned an '08 Si years ago - that handled well and was quick enough for me. I liked the G35 I drove yesterday. Handled well and was quick enough.

Would prefer a manual, but would be ok with an auto transmission.

Maybe a forte+turbo? Rx8? Older genesis coupe? CL230 vert?

If you want something quick stay away from the Si and RSX.

You need you something with t-tops, 4th gen w/ LS1 & T56

GTO isn't bad thot, but likely out of price ranges and high cost of repair should any body parts be needed.

Just say no, get an older V8 for the same money. They depreciate about as fast as a Kia minivan, can get a decent 2005-2009 GT for well under $10K. Even the 2011-2012 coyotes can be had well below $15K now, but that's over his budget. The 2010 Camaro SS is probably a little too expensive for this case and they didn't make them since about 2002 before that.

It's not a good idea to spend all your money on a 20 year old german or rx8, unless you know how to work on them.

Mk4 GTI or GLI would be fun.
