Anyone have experience or insight here?

Prices seem to significantly less in some cases and indicates free shipping and free 7 day returns (whatever that means). Seems kind of too good to be true.

No.

TDA appears to be a subcontractor for Vroom, which is a competitor to Carvana.

That's what it was. I knew TDA was with one of them.

TDA was bought by Vroom.

Drivetime is like a ghetto Subprime Carmax for people with no credit.

Black Ice air fresheners abound.

I've seen enough of those things while pulling parts at the boneyard to make a Black Ice forest!

If bad credit had a smell, it would smell like black ice.

Seriously, carvana is no different than shopping at CarMax. Basically the same reconditioning, same ratio of rental cars, same people working behind the scenes. Tons of friends from my CarMax days are running the show at carvana.

From the times I have looked at Carvana over the past 18 months, prices for what I was looking for seemed decent but better deals were easy to be find locally for comparable cars (and history). Seemed to have the convenience built into the price a bit. Not bad prices by any means, but not hard to do better.

Or South Carolina delivery if you're buying a BMW suv.

But they provide you with a smoked brat and a brau for that true SC German immersion.

Carvana seems to be right at or below what Dealers are asking for CPOs.

There is a big convenience factor, with a little less warranty.

This is not my experience right now. I'd prefer to go with a local, but the dealer prices are all much higher.

Just curious if there are any more reviews on Carvana.

I bought a Mazda from Carvana July 2017. The transaction was easy. They trumpet full disclosure but in my experience that's not true. A pre-buy inspection revealed paint work on the passenger side. They were shocked I found that. Decided to buy anyway since everything else checked out and the primary driver was a teenager. Well, a year later the car was totaled. That process revealed other work that didn't show on the CarFax, the inspection or their supposedly full disclosure.
