Thursday, a friend who owns a Ford dealership called and said he had a trade in I might be interested in. My 2000 F250 SD is getting long in the tooth and the V10 was killing me with gas. My bride and I have been talking about getting a used 5th Wheel and wanted a better tow vehicle. This isn't what most folks think of, but it'll do.

2015 Lariat with 6.7. No engine mods. 4" Lift, Ranch Hands front and rear with Warn Winch. Black leather interior with all tech goodies. It is a "Black Ops" edition but all the silly ass badging has been removed. 37" x 20 tires. Massive Weather tech tool box, spray in Bedliner. I literally drove it home, parked it, jumped in my SRT Grand Cherokee andhauled ass to New Braunfels for a week

Damn truck rides better than my GC and is in another world compared to my 2000 F250. .

I bought it lifted. Probably wouldn't have done it myself. My 2000 has a leveling kit and I still run 35s with no problem.

The 4 in. is PERFECT! Exactly what I have...level is too low...More than 4 is too tall / drivability suffers / too much brah-ness imho. 4 is the sweet spot! Enjoy & Congrats!!! What shocks are installed...?

Thanks. Rough week this week. MIL passed away. Hadn't got to play with the truck much. I got some pics of the interior from the dealer I'll try to post up. It's black leather. Has some faux wood trim I hate that needs to be wrapped with some black or carbon fiber wrap. Probably going to swap the Sync 2 for Sync 3 for Apple CarPlay, add a front camera, and some Amp power steps somybride can get in without cussing me.

Lol, daughter borrowed it to go to Houston and bring some crap back from her house in the Heights. She had to drive downtown and park at the Law school. It didn't fit.

She had her doubts about getting it into her driveway. She has a 3' wrought iron fence around her front yard and the gate is pretty narrow. Her Charger fills up the driveway. She got in but couldn't walk around it. A friend that came and picked her up for a practice bar exam downtown was asking why anyone needed that truck.
