I'm thinking about planning this in the first weekend of May, after the MS150.

CONFIRMED May 5.

So if you have work you'd like to get done, please post here what you need done and if you need old film removed etc.

I'll have a grill available and probably burgers and brats, and if you want to bring something to throw on/share and it'll be BYOB. I'll have two of my own that need tint. Feel free to come and hang out if you want as well.

I'll keep a running list and keep Fabien in the loop. This is not necessarily the order that it will go. Just a list of folks.

Need a window redone from seat belt nicks. Probably not worth the drive to Houston though. Sounds fun though.

Helps quite a bit during the day. Without a back up camera, I often have to lower the windows to back up.

If I lived closer I'd be down for sure.

I have 18 on the front windows and 5 on the rears. Pretty dark.

When I lived in China, I had 5 on front and 5 over privacy and 20 on front windshield. It was too dark for night driving.

That 20 on the windshield made a big difference though didn't it?

Yup. Except in the US it's illegal to tint your entire windshield unless you have a medical reason. When I had my SHO I used a 70% ceramic and it was hard to tell that it was tinted.

Think I wouldn't want to push my luck more than having 5% fronts.

No tinted windshields with or without prescription in Texas.
"The medical exemption allows motorists to place a darker tint on the front side windows and the upper portion of the front windshield (top 5 inches or above the AS-1 line, whichever is less). The exemption does not, however, allow a motorist to place a sun screening device on the rest of the front windshield."

Once I get a new windshield, I'm going 50% on it.

I'm down. Not sure if I'll have any work needed, although I may decide to remove and retint the 335is.

You have to be careful turning left on dark residential streets too. First time you drive a rental you'll notice the difference in a big way.

I'm not on here enough to know who Fabian is but it sounds like he does great work. What tint does he use and what's a ballpark cost I could expect to pay?

He quoted me $220 to remove the front 2 windows and tint all 5 + brow on my tundra. Not ceramic though

Heat rejection.
The car was new so I didn't have to worry about inspections for 2 years.

I'm likely in. No prior tint to remove. Tint on all windows (other than windshield) on Audi RS5 coupe.

Wife's 2017 Exploder, two front door windows.

Put me down for an F150. No removal.

I need to get the front windows of the f350 done but I can't commit until we get a little closer and i have a better idea on my schedule. I'm interested but don't want to take someone's spot if I end up not able to make it work.

Changed to getting the Navigator done.

Provided I pick up the new truck on Friday, I'm in.

Anyone have thoughts/suggestions on tinting the pano sunroof in a '16 F150?
