I have some serious caked on brake dust, and tried a few things to get it off to no avail. What is yalls best recommendation that will eat through it and not damage the wheels? 2012 GMC Sierra with the stock Texas Edition 20's

Simple green or purple power. Let sit and clean with a magic eraser.

Mother's Wheel Mist. I use it to clean calipers on my bikes so I don't have to scrub the pistons. Spray on and rinse off.

I have found a good car wash soap and then using mothers chrome polish and elbow grease makes them look brand new, but its a lot of elbow grease required.

Anyone tried that internet hack that went settings the book of faces a while back?

Buy a good bristle brush with the right size head, cut the handle off, drill out the center, and secure it with a bolt and nut, then chuck it into your drill?
