Trying to replace fuel filter on chevy diesel in Northgate area and new filter won't thread up and screw on. I'm stranded. Anyone know somebody who knows diesel and could lend a hand? 2.45 pm Saturday. Too. Won. Oh. 6 oh to. Too 5 ate 7. Thanks.

Hopefully you have got it going by now. My first thought is that you are not getting it pushed up into the threads far enough before spinning it on.
