Auto open glove box in GX460

I would like to wire my glove box to auto open when either I press a button on the drivers side or use a key fob. Gravity does most the work, just need something to open the lock. Are there any options out there? Prefer the key fob route. Don't mind having a second fob from the main car one.

I can wire it myself just need to know what to get.

This sounds like a fun challenge with an arduino/raspberry pi. Not aware of anything off the shelf.

Can you take a pic of what the lock looks like on the back side? Is it something a little servo motor would be able to push/spin?

This is gonna be.... different than I thought. The glove box is actually held shut by a plastic latch (black pointy piece) built into the door. The lock and opening mechanism are sperate and built into the dash. Best I can tell, depressing the opener, pushes the latch into the door until it's flush and gravity does the rest. If I could rig the latch inside the door to retract to a signal, I may not have to mess with the lock.

I definitely think you could rig that up to work if you were willing to do a little surgery to the glove box door/latch.
