Buying the wife a new car and she wants the wheels black instead of silver and the dealer can't swap them out. Anybody have experience with powder coating? Recommendations for a shop in BCS or Houston?

Use Plasti Dip. At least then it'll be easy to remove once it's realized that black wheels are literally aids.

I do not recommend black wheels.
I do not recommend powder coating wheels.

That being said, if you go through with it I can recommend Jack Rabbit powder coating in BCS.

I powder coated my wheels black. Plastidipped them first to make sure I liked the look. I think it looks great and the powder coating has held up well.

However, I don't have any recs in Houston

There's one thing I learned on my old car when I powder coated my rims. If you **** up a rim and need to replace it, you will never be able to replicate the color on the other 3 without stripping and re-coating all of them.

Depending on the wheels, it is probably cheaper to sell the oems and buy black ones
