I'm trying to get estimates on a radiator that has a 4-5 inch crack in the top.

First estimate I've received is $495.

What should I be expecting to pay?

See what replacement part they are using (AC Delco or aftermarket). I'd almost wager that the 1023.75 estimate is using a replacement from the dealer..

If it is the Flat 5 Vortec you most certainly can.

Same engine as in my 07 Colorado. I replaced the radiator, hoses, and fan/clutch all in one evening before finishing a 6 pack.

Easy stuff.
