Does anyone know of a place that does chrome plating that is reasonably priced? I know chrome is expensive, but the quotes I'm getting are through the roof.

I need to do the trim on my 47 ford.

I can find reproduction grill bars but can't find any repro hood trim.

We're in the hydraulic business and when we need a rod re chromed we'll use a couple different shops in town. One is http://www.mirrorindustries.com.

If you are in Denton, Bob Smith Coach Works is in Gainesville. They are not going to be cheap though.

Yeah I contacted the one in Gainesville. They wanted $6,000.

I have less than that on the entire vehicle.

Economy chrome in mesquite. But keep in mind, It isn't show chrome.

Al's playing in fort worth, does a better job and is a little more pricey but still fairly reasonable.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check those places out.

Anyone ever heard of Pulido Plating in balch springs? They have provided the cheapest quote so far. I know this is one of those things where you get what you pay for, but I can't spend a ton on the trim.
