I am looking at a 2014 Ram Diesel that has been EGR Deleted at 53k miles. I am be no means a diesel mechanic, but I get the purpose of theEGR Delete/DPF, but is there anything else I should be aware of? Most all I can find to read, most people do it after the factory power train warranty runs out (100k miles on this make/model/year). What is the risk of doing this pre-warranty? I get you lose factory warranty, but are you overall increasing or decreasing your risk vs waiting until 100k?
