They only sell the bumper caps (painted parts) in pairs. The bracket is also the receiver hitch and what holds the bumper together. Then you have the plastic cap. So it should all be new.

We just fixed one almost exactly like this. It just needed tailgate repair, not replacement, and it was $2800. Add in the tailgate and 1ags is probably pretty close. 1 week repair in my shop.

USAA is definitely the way to go.

Maybe some damage to the rear bed sill area behind the tailgate, but even if so it would be minor. Hard to say about frame damage without looking at it in person, but my guess is the frame is probably not damaged. It's not a bad hit at all.

You should make sure to seek a diminished value claim from his insurance company. I got a check for $2,750 for diminished value along with getting my car fixed after being rear ended.

IIRC Keystone, LKQ, Capstone all service the caps in PTM a la carte as well though.

Your last pic of the two dings on the rear door isnt from getting rear ended. I would say those are two license plate screws from another car bumping into you in a parking lot/low speed impact.

I'd imagine that there's a $4k supplement in the near future... the real question is did you pursue an injury claim?

Attorney would tell you any soft tissue injury you sustained is worth more since it's a company truck... just saying.
