I bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 last week and ordered a Old Man Emu heavy duty lift and AEV Pintler Silver rims. My question is what kind of tire would fit with that lift, and what size spacers would I need and any additional mods so it wouldn't rub on anything? Thanks!

Check out www.jeepforum.com.

I don't know about Grand Cherokees, but for Toyota FJ's the OME Heavy lift is only recommended if you have an aftermarket front bumper/winch already installed. The ride will be super rough w/o some additional weight.

Thanks for the link, I'll do some research there!

Assuming a 2" lift; 265/70-17.
I don't remember what size lifts OME offers these days.
With the Pintlers you probably don't need to trim the ball-joint bolt.

I'm now running 255/75-17 and I now need to do some work in the wheel well. Got some rubbing at lock.

JeepForum.com has some good info. (I used to be moderator...Texas WJ)

Welcome to the fray. I love my gas guzzler.

I've got OME HDs on my disco, everything else is stock on the vehicle, no bumpers, winch , etc. Its something like 1" over factory ride height.
