Anyone have a suggestion for a nice weekend getaway for this coming weekend, November 4th through 6th?

I'm trying to find something in Fredericksburg, but everything seems to be booked up. Would love any other suggestions that anyone might have that would be within an hour or two of Central Texas.

I've always thought glen rose would be a good weekend getaway, but probably more for the whole family. Have you looked at places to stay in Johnson City?

San saba. Within driving for fredricksbirg. Has a great little burger joint:brewery and a couple of vineyards as well. I know the owner of stone oak cottage (Michael Thomas) through Rotary. Nice place for a weekend. My work gave a weekend away to a donor back in August. They reported back they had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities and made a day trip to Fredericksburg for an afternoon.

Galveston is nice this time of year. Not too crowded either.
