Wasn't aware of the Cascades connection but I do know we've had community spread here (direct from one of THE hospital execs).

There are 4 confirmed cases that I know of now from the Cascades. 3 of them live in the Stratford high rise and were connected as friends and one works at the club.

It's the county judge's call.

I was told by someone in the know that he's leaning heavily on NETHealth and their staff's recommendation.

It's a tough balance: after seeing what is happening in most cities, people aren't adhering to the SIP requirements and the disease is still spreading even after the order has been given. Giving the order simply "requires" that some people lose their jobs but may save a percentage from getting infected.

I don't think it's an easy decision if you believe in personal responsibility liberties.

I have heard some rumors coming from local sheriff's deputies police and State troopers that they were told to expect it. These are from different sources too, hopefully I'm wrong.

Heard rumors from our partners as well. Just rumors from someone who talked to someone. But seems to be picking up steam.

The rumors have been out there since last week. Almost every day we've been told by someone in the know that "tomorrow is the day." I'm not saying that the press conference today isn't it...just that everyone is saying "yeah I heard....".

Who knows? Guess we'll find out at 2:00.

Not sure, article says her test results were negative.

Turns out I know one of the confirmed cases, they are quarantined at home. They picked it up just like the guy in the Tyler Paper, sat at a dinner table in a restaurant for an hour with someone who was later confirmed to have it. No one else at the table has shown signs or tested positive, including the spouse of the infected who obviously spent nights in bed next to the infected. Those with confirmed cases have to show no symptoms for 72 hours, after that they will continued to be quarantined for 14 days.

Looks like my neighbor is now been fever free for 24 hrs, still exhausted if she moves around much but the body aches are subsiding.

East Texas is up to 100 cases with 41 in Smith County.

Just another enjoyable evening biking to Brookshires with zero traffic. Barely had to stop. Store was completely full except the TP - which I still find odd.
