PASS IT BACK, AGS: Our hearts are heavy upon hearing of the devastation in the Texas Panhandle. They have experienced tremendous loss that in some cases can never be restored. Many have lost their homes, cattle, and some have lost their loved ones.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Gray, Hemphill, and Lipscomb Counties are in need of assistance.

We are partnering up with members of the Texas Aggie Rodeo Team to help with these efforts. They will be collecting monetary donations at their College Rodeo on March 17th and 18th at the Brazos County Expo. Their members have generously provided transportation for any of the hay that is donated around the Bryan/College Station area.

In the next week we will have our AO Truck parked at our University Drive location and will be accepting these donation items:
Livestock Hay or Feed
Bottled Water
Nonperishables
Fencing Supplies
Monetary Donations*
Drivers with Personal Truck and Trailer (to haul hay/feed)

*Monetary donations can be made at any of our locations: Southgate, University Drive, and Post Oak Mall. These donations will help purchase fencing supplies, vet supplies, and livestock hay or feed. Checks can be made out to any of the locations listed on the Wildfire Relief flyer or to Aggieland Outfitters with "Wildfire Relief" in the MEMO. Any check made out to Aggieland Outfitters will be split equally between the 3 counties.

If you aren't in the Bryan/College Station area, you can still help and make a donation to any of the counties listed in the flyer from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Center (no donation is too small, and every little bit helps). Gig'em and God Bless!

UPDATE 3/13/17: Thank you for the shares, comments, and emails. We've received such an abundance of support for the Texas Panhandle Fire Relief Effort. We have been in contact with the 3 counties listed in our first post and they have a surplus of hay for the next few weeks. We received over 100 bales of hay from multiple donors and it will be delivered on an as-needed basis.

These counties are STILL in need of fencing supplies and/or monetary donations for supplies. You can drop off supplies or donations at our University Drive location. Every little bit helps. Thanks and Gig'em!
