I will be working in Los Fresnos for a week at the end of January. I am flying in and out of BRO. Is there any reason to stay in Harlingen as opposed to Brownsville? Can I get a hotel recommendation for each? I need it to have great internet service.

Also, I'll take any restaurant rec's too. I normally eat at Las Vegas cafe is Harlingen.

Appreciate it.

That would be my suggestion as well. Not that far of a drive from there to Los Fresnos.

Yeah I would certainly stay at Padre. 18 miles or so from there to Los Fresnos.

Speed traps between los fresnos and the island are a good reason not to stay on the island....
