any of y'all use an Antenna for broadcast TV, what type of antenna did you get? Does it get CBS?

I have this setup in the rafters in my attic (pointed WNW) connected to the cable to my Den and bedroom TV.
We use Roku3's throughout the house for streaming. We have Grande for internet.
I can get all channels including 7, sometimes it pixelates. I need to double check my cables before CFB season.
I also added a small plug in amplifier to the 2 cables to make the signal better.
I live in Crestgate, just East of "shut-down" Midland Wal-Mart.

I hooked up the Sling channel on my Roku3 last night and the baseball game on ESPN looked crisp.
So I am ready for Saturday!

Yep, we also have sling, and that antenna works great by the way. Was surprised at how many channels it pulled in.

Sling cuts in and out to rebuffer I guess, but it is mostly tolerable. Similar to having a dish and living on the approach to an airport. At least 10 years ago when I was able to witness it first hand.

Did you install the antenna outside or just hang it in the attic like I did?

The benchmark for OTA is if you can get CBS7 you can get the rest.

Attic, aimed slightly WNW (I think). Yes I get CBS and probably 24 stations total. CBS never even flickers.
