Best/cheapest places to buy crawfish around the Heights?
We got some from HEB this past weekend and they were all very small. Won't buy anymore small ones.Marauder Blue 6 said:

I bought 65 lbs (31 and 34 lb bags) of live bugs from L&L Seafood last weekend at $3.89/lb
Was pleasantly surprised at the size for how early it in the season.

Is Boil House BYOB?
The new place across from Kroger smells good and is usually crowded.
That place is always doing well it seems...even weeks ago before crawfish were really goin.digging tunnels said:
Boil house is definitely my favorite place. You can get three different levels of heat, and I do love em really spicy. Only issue is the place is small and isn't much room to sit and eat.
Second favorite is Cactus Cove. On Tuesday, it's $5/lb and weekends they offer 5 lb/$35. Plenty of parking and space to eat.
I have yet to try Crawfish Cafe across from Kroger. I've seen the menu and you can order multiple different flavors with varying levels of heat. I've heard great things about this place. Drove by yesterday at noon and there was a long ass line out the door before it opened. This place is also BYOB

Didn't have them last year due to Covid, but surprisingly, Cedar Creek is the best I have had in recent years.
I think they're still doing them every wknd...hopefully they haven't changed anything.
