I prefer Hotsome Chicken nearby for my Korean Fried Chicken cravings. Both are really good though. Probably depends on your sauce preferences and opinions on breading.

I never thought I would enjoy green fried chicken, but the Gochu Mayo was a tasty sauce at Hotsome

My Middle Eastern buddy took me to a place off Richmond years ago. Quite possibly the best fried chicken I've had in a long, long time.

If you're on the SW side:

When I worked in Westchase we would hit this place up regularly. We'd always split a whole fried bird and then add on a half of the Palestinian grilled chicken. Great hummus too.

Place is definitely kind of sketch. There were times when we would show up at noon and the place would be locked with the lights off and there would be hot coffee and still burning cigs on the outdoor tables by the door. Like they had to bail in a heartbeat because they heard the Mossad was on the way.

Anyone tried the takeout chicken from Goode Company yet, called Goode Bird?

The chicken is really good. The sides are ass. The pimento cheese is really good too though.

If this pilot is successful and they feel like they can make money with a B&M store, I guess they can refine the quality of the sides.

The sides at Goode Co BBQ are ass too

I find it was over rated. Don't get me wrong, it was decent but there are better places for most everything they offered. Not a huge loss.

Random thing but had the Baller Board at Georgia James a while ago when it was still in the old Underbelly spot. Anyway, they put some fried chicken and holy balls it was amazing. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

Glad to see they diversified into something that is pretty hard to screw up. Their BBQ is some of the worst I've ever had in my life.

Out in Katy is Craft Burger that has amazing fried chicken (ironic because they say they are a burger place). They use brined 44 farms chicken. An actual chef owns the place, Shannen Tune. Best I've ever had and I'm a fat kid.

I hadn't been to Mico's yet, even though it's in my neighborhood. The base chicken (no heat) is kind of average, but when they slap some of their sauce on it, damn it's good. I figured I'd try the hot today and move up to the Carolina Reaper version next time. Portions were a robust size as well. Definitely worth the money and the wait.

Zydeco is M-F lunch. Entrees change every day and they have several each day. I think fried chicken is either Wed or Thur.
